In immediate danger, call 999 first. Then tell the door or WhatsApp us.
On the night
- Find the doorOur crew runs the door at Humboldt. If something feels wrong, for you or someone else, go there first. You will not be asked to justify it.
- Watch your drinkKeep it in your hand. If a drink tastes off, or a friend seems far drunker than they should be, stop drinking it, stay together and tell the door.
- Ask firstAsk before you touch, photograph or film anyone. A no, or no answer, is a no. Anyone who ignores this leaves and is taken off the list.
- Water is freeAsk at the bar. Alternate. Eat before you come.
- Leave togetherArrive as a group, leave as a group. Agree a meeting point before the night starts and do not let a friend leave alone with someone they just met.
Getting home
- Never drive after drinkingNot one. Plan your ride before you have your first drink.
- Book a ride from insideWait indoors until the app shows the car has arrived. Match the plate and the driver's name before you get in, and share your trip with a friend.
- Text when you are homeMake it a group rule. If someone has not checked in, call them.
After the night
If something happened at a SCREA night, you can tell us privately, days or weeks later. We will listen, keep it confidential unless you ask us to act, and remove anyone who harmed someone from the list and the door.
